Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has reportedly asked officials to take the assistance of the NDRF to carry out rescue operations.

Endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy visited some of the affected areas and asked the official machinery to render assistance to people who have been stranded due to floods.

The road leading to Yadadri temple was closed after boulders fell on the ghat road in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
The road from Siddipet-Waragal has also been flooded because of the rain and overflowing streams.
