Tamil Nadu records 333 active cases of dengue | Chennai News – Times of India

CHENNAI: The state will revoke the empanelment of private hospitals that deny treatment for children diagnosed with dengue after they cross the package limit under Chief Minister Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, said health minister Ma Subramanian.
In a press meet, the minister said 40 children are being treated in the government children hospital. The figure includes children who were discharged from private hospitals after they crossed the insurancelimit. So far, the state has 333 active cases of dengue and 85,340 blood sampleshave been tested for the infection.
