NEW DELHI: Leader of opposition in Delhi assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri held several meetings with party workers in different localities under the Delhi BJP’s ‘pravaas karyakram’ which seeks to mobilize ground level party workers before the upcoming municipal elections in the capital.
BJP is trying to focus the energy of its local units into building a stronger ground for the party before the upcoming polls.
“With the party workers, I reviewed the strategy for taking the achievements of the Narendra Modi government to each and every household,” Bidhuri said after a meeting with office bearers of different frontal organisations of the party at Raghubarpura. In the meeting Bidhuri also reviewed social media activities and the appointment of ‘panna pramukhs’ (booth level workers).
A meeting was held at Safeda Basti in Geeta Colony on Friday. “People have high expectations from Narendra Modi government’s housing scheme for the slum dwellers and people are also grateful to the Modi government for getting them free ration. Many poor people are disappointed because Ayushman Bharat scheme has not been implemented in Delhi by the AAP government,” Bidhuri said.
The Badarpur MLA added that a meeting with people of Jain community was also held in Krishna Nagar under the ongoing campaign.
