‘Positive result must come out in future’: Mamata after meeting Sonia, Rahul | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday met Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi at her Janpath residence in New Delhi.
“Sonia ji invited me for tea, Rahul ji was also there. It was a very good meeting. I think the positive result must come out in the future, said Mamata.
The Trinamool leader said she discussed the political situation in the country, Pegasus snooping scandal and the unity of opposition against the ruling BJP with the Congress president.
She said Sonia also wants the unity of the opposition. Congress trusts the regional parties and regional parties trust Congress, Mamata said.
Mamata is on a visit to the national capital after leading her party to a win in the assembly elections in West Bengal earlier this year. She met Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this week.
