Mumbai Covid Cases: Mumbai reports 351 new Covid-19 cases, 10 deaths | Mumbai News – Times of India


MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed that Mumbai city recorded 351 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday. The total number of cases climbed to 7,31,914.
Now, the city is left with 6,161 active cases.
Unfortunately, 10 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours out of whom nine had co-morbidities. The death toll has reached 15,726.
However, 525 people went back home after being discharged from hospitals on Tuesday. As many as 7,07,654 patients have been discharged from hospitals after making a full recovery so far.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 97 per cent and the doubling rate is 1063 days.
The civic body has also sealed off 58 buildings to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The civic body has also declared seven areas as ‘Active Containment Zones’.
Meanwhile, the vaccination drive in Government, and Municipal centres have been suspended on Wednesday due to a shortage of vaccines.
