Mumbai Covid Cases: Mumbai reports 288 new Covid-19 cases, 412 recoveries | Mumbai News – Times of India


MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that Mumbai has reported 288 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the overall count to 7,35,659.
There are 4,616 active cases in the city.
Three people also succumbed to the deadly infection while two of them had co-morbidities. The overall death toll has reached 15,911.
As many as 412 patients were discharged from hospitals post making a full recovery today. Till date, the total number of positive patients recovered and discharged stands at 7,12,723.
Also, BMC has conducted 29,033 Covid-19 tests during the day.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 97 per cent while the doubling rate is 1555 days.
The civic body has also sealed off 48 buildings to contain the spread of virus in Mumbai. BMC has also declared two areas as ‘Active Containment Zones’.
