Man held over a year after Delhi riots gets bail | Delhi News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: A Delhi court has granted bail to a man arrested in a case related to the northeast Delhi riots, saying it was worthwhile to note that he was arrested over a year after the incident.
Additional sessions judge Vinod Yadav granted relief to Sazid on furnishing a bail bond of Rs 10,000 with one surety of like amount in the case related to rioting in northeast Delhi’s Dayalpur. The court also noted that 26 co-accused arrested in the case had already been granted bail.
The court directed him not to tamper with evidence and to maintain peace and harmony in the locality. It also directed him to install the Aarogya Setu app on his mobile phone.
