When you decide to lose some weight, you’ll find yourself restricting your carb- and fat-intake, which is fine, until it starts proving harmful for your overall health.
At such times, what you can do is learn to differentiate between good and bad carbs as well as healthy and unhealthy fats. Good, complex carbs are high in fibre and are great for your health. It keeps you satiated for a longer period of time and keeps high-calorie foods at pay, while also providing your body with the required energy. Similarly, healthy fats, also known as monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats are good for your heart health and keep a check on your cholesterol level. Not including these foods will only limit your body of healthy foods and nutrition.
That said, do not stress about eating the right kind of carbs and fats. Stress will only increase your chances of gaining more weight.
