Government must hold fresh talks on agriculture bills: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar | India News – Times of India

PATNA: “I will urge the Centre to reach an amicable solution,” he said, while expressing concern over the congregation of farmers outside Delhi when the threat of a third wave of Covid was looming large.
Nitish said the agitation did not have any impact in Bihar. “We have taken steps in farmers’ interest. Farm production has enhanced and their produce is being procured by government agencies,” he said. He also took a swipe at Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s statement that BJP should withdraw its support to the Nitish government if JD(U) leader opposed a legislation on population control.
