Fire in Delhi Geeta Colony: Fire breaks out in factory in Geeta Colony, 1 dead | Delhi News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Delhi Fire Services (DFS) recovered the charred body of a 40-year-old man after fire broke out in a factory in Geeta Colony area on Thursday.
According to the fire department, around 3am on Thursday, they received a fire call from the Geeta colony area.
Five fire tenders were sent to the spot to douse the flames.
“The fire broke out on the first-floor room of a three-storey building where a factory was running. A charred body was found,” an officer said.
Atul Garg, director, Delhi Fire Services, said that the deceased was identified as Sanju.
