Rabdi in itself is an Indian mithai that can be had as a standalone dessert. It has a kheer-like texture but is thicker. Rabdi is a condensed milk-based dish that is prepared by boiling milk until it reduces in volume and becomes thicker. It is then mixed with jaggery, saffron and some other ingredients. The colour of rabdi is off-white in colour and has a rich texture. Rabdi is also used to decorate Ghewar, which tastes absolutely amazing. (image credits- istock)
