Dharavi reports two new Covid-19 cases on Monday | Mumbai News – Times of India


MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that Dharavi reported two new Covid-19 cases on Monday. The total number of cases in Dharavi climbed to 6,996.
There are 10 active cases in Dharavi presently. Also, 6,596 people were discharged from hospitals post-recovery till date.
One person each tested positive in Dadar and Mahim areas, taking the total tally to 9,952 and 10,263 respectively.
While there are 31 active patients in Dadar presently, there are 44 in Mahim. Also, 9,645 patients have been discharged from hospitals in Dadar post-recovery till date. On the other hand, 9,973 people recovered/been discharged in Mahim till date.
Mumbai’s G/North ward includes Dharavi, Dadar and Mahim. The ward reported four new Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the overall tally to 27,211. There are 85 active cases in the ward and as many as 26,214 people have been discharged from hospitals post recovering from Covid-19 infection till date in the ward.
