Constable recruitment physical test in Madurai: Candidates must carry Covid negative result | Madurai News – Times of India

MADURAI: Madurai city police commissioner Prem Anand Sinha has said candidates, who have been shortlisted for physical test at Madurai Armed Police Ground, should produce a negative result of an RT-PCR test taken less than four days before.
As many as 1,700 candidates who have cleared the written test for the recruitment of second grade police constable will take part in the physical test scheduled between July 26 and August 3.
Those without the original Covid-19 negative test result would not be allowed inside the ground, the commissioner said in a statement.
If the call letter is without the photograph of the candidates, they should bring two passport size photographs along with a government issued identity card like Aadhaar card, driving licence or election card. Candidates should wear plain coloured shirts and bermudas without any words, pictures and indication marks printed on them, the commissioner added.
