Civil services exam: TN govt-run coaching centre to offer free training to 225 candidates | Chennai News – Times of India

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government-run All India Civil Service Coaching Centre would offer free coaching to 221 selected candidates to prepare for the UPSC civil services examination this year, chief secretary V Irai Anbu said.
The aspirants were told to register on between 6pm on November 3 and 6pm on November 7.
The list of the candidates shortlisted for the free coaching would be published on the website on November 9. The selected candidates would be admitted to the centre on November 11. Coaching would begin on the following day, said the CS in a statement.
The candidates should attach the income certificate along with their application. The candidates would receive a monthly incentive of Rs 3,000 and free accommodation. Experienced and well qualified faculty members would conduct classes.
