BJP will make India a superpower: Karnataka minister | Hubballi News – Times of India

HUBBALLI: The winds of change that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ushered in seven years ago will last another 25, and propel India into the league of superpower nations, said Union minister of state for IT, electronics and skill development Rajeev Chandrashekhar on Monday.
Chandrashekahar, who inaugurated the ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Hubballi, feted Covid-19 warriors such as doctors, police, ASHA workers, nurses and pourakarmikas.
He said that India, which had been ruled by the British for 200 years, was exploited by one dynasty for more than 60 years.
The Union minister outlined his plan to turn Hubballi into the ‘skill development capital’ of Karnataka. “Hubballi has the potential to become the skill development capital: It has many educational institutions. I have already discussed my plan with the elected representatives of the region, and in the coming days, many development projects will be implemented in Hubballi,” Chandrashekhar said.
BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel took a swipe at the leaders of the opposition party in the state. “They are unemployed, and have nothing left to do but open an astrology shop, which is what the former CM is doing,” said Kateel.
Former CM Jagadish Shettar, minister Shankar Patil Munenakoppa and others were present.
