Delhi Police arrests Bhim Sena chief for threatening Nupur Sharma

In a Facebook video, Tanwar reported an abundance of Rs 1 crores on Nupur Sharma and furthermore offered compromising comments, police said.
The Delhi Police Special Cell has captured Bhim Sena boss Nawab Satpal Tanwar for supposedly giving disparaging comments and calling for viciousness against BJP representative Nupur Sharma for her supposed comments on the Prophet.

The Special Cell’s Cyber Cell unit captured Tanwar from his home on Thursday. This comes days after Gurgaon Police booked Tanwar under areas of advancing hatred between various gatherings, abetment, deliberate affront and criminal terrorizing. The objection was stopped by BJP Youth Wing president Sarvapriya Tyagi.

A senior cop from the Cyber Cell said, “We took cognisance of the video. The man is heard offering dangerous comments and is attempting to spread scorn. We captured Tanwar from Gurgaon. He has been reserved under IPC segments 506 (criminal terrorizing), 509 (affront unobtrusiveness of a lady) and 153A (advancing hostility between various gatherings)”
