Surat all set to get India’s first bullet train station; Union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reviews progress

Surat is good to go to get the primary slug train station of the country. This will be finished by December 2024. Priest of rail route Ashwani Vaishnaw visited the site on Monday and survey the advancement of continuous works.

“We are making an honest effort to begin slug train administrations among Surat and Billimora in 2026,” expressed Vaishnaw on Monday.

Of the 508.17-kilometer Mumbai-Ahmedabad slug train project, 155.76 km is in Maharashtra, 384.04 km in Gujarat and 4.3 km in Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Aside from Surat, work on three additional stations-Vapi, Bilimora and Bharuch likewise happening going full speed ahead and is probably going to be finished by 2024.

The shot train undertaking will likewise have stations at Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai, Thane, Virar, Boisor, Vadodra Ahmedabad and Sabarmati.
